Character Background

Lazy, alcoholic and blessed with supremely bad taste, Burt had everything it took to become a real Uppers (all except money, that is), until the day he won the lottery and was sent a check for several million. Some Uppers weren’t too thrilled about his arrival in the clan but once you get used to the smell, you have to admit he’s a pretty cool guy…

Review

Zatman is banned for a reason and even if we all have been waiting for his replacement we shouldn’t expect another Zatman for Uppers anytime soon. Fortunately the last card for this week isn’t as bad as some might think.

We have a lot of 6/3 3-stars that are being used not because of their stats but  because of their abilities and I think Burt will be no exception. In a clan whose sole damage reducer before was a 1/8 3-star Burt should definitely see some use.

In conclusion just like Nellie as of now Burt might find a home in Uppers deck for daily but someday if Uppers get a 3-star or 4-star that is just slightly below what Zatman and Jackie was respectively then he might have a future.

Nellie

Character Background

Nellie has always had everything she wanted, when she wanted it. Well, as the one and only Princess of Poldachie-Golgovine and part of the elite, what else would you expect? Surrounded by an army of loyal servants, there’s nothing she enjoys more than making the life of those who make her life perfect, utterly hellish.

Review

Jackie is one of the best 4-star card in the game and any 4-star Uppers would be compared to him/her and Nellie is no exception. On stats alone she is bad for a 4-star but considering that she can reduce an opponents power by 3 minimum of 4, her fragile 5/6 body could be treated as an 8/6 similar to what Jackie was.

So does that mean she is a good card and could bring Uppers back into the game? Not really she is only good against cards that can’t stop her ability and doesn’t have attack-reducing bonus. Just like Robb her low power is her main weakness.

If they switch her power and damage and made her 6/5 instead then should we be really good. But still Uppers is a dominant force in Daily Tournament and she might find a home for those types of deck.
