Sharon

Character Background

When she married Edd (and his bank account), Sharon was convinced she was finally going to lead the life of a princess she’d always dreamt of. But on realizing where her new husband’s money came from (yes, Sharon is a bit slow on the uptake), she came down to earth with a bang and was on the verge of getting seriously depressed. Fortunately she still has the casino to distract her and at least there she’s far from the clutches of the Mafia…

Review

First Montana copied John and they didn’t stop there they also copied Dayton in Edd’s wife Sharon.

Montana already have a 7/3 3-star in Ottavia but unlike the latter who is able to reduce the damage that might be dealt to you, Sharon is able to increase her damage which gives her a decent 7/5 body. Just like Oscar she is a good card that could see some use her only difference is that she is not a dead card against SOA, which gives her a slight edge

Honestly I liked both Montana cards. I would try them once I get them but If they copied either Lehane or Hawk instead then I would really be happy.

Oscar

Character Background

His warm and sensual voice, devastating smile, perfectly coiffured hair and suits to die for are the keys to Oscar’s success and explain why he always takes centre stage at the Borgia Palace parties and clan weddings.

Review

What if Montana get some copies of Sentinels lackluster 3-stars? First off is Montana’s version of John, the crooner, Oscar.

The first thing you will notice about him is that he is the first card who doesn’t gain anything from leveling up. His stat doesn’t change between level 1 and 2 and he doesn’t get his ability till level 3. With this in mind he should only be played as a 3-star.  But to see his full potential of 9-power you need to play him in a mono-Montana deck which is not hard to do I believe because I myself play one during ELO. Even alone he is a 6/4 which is average for a 3-star his only downside is that SOA bonus clan are top tier right now which leaves him most of the time as a 5-power card.

Overall I like him sure he won’t replace Mona or Ottavia in my Montana half deck but in a mono-deck I might just find a way to include him.

Filomena

Character Background

Don’s kid sister is pissed with the Sentinels who are spreading vicious rumors about him, making out he’s some kind of crook. Not only is it not true, but if Mama were to find out, who knows what she might do… To set things straight, Filomena decides to head for the city and sort out those numbskull cops once and for all.

Review

Finally the last card for this week’s release, we review the godfather’s sister Filomena. Unlike the confident and talented Enzo, this sweet old lady might just get more chance of being used cause of her lower star value.

She could have been perfect if her damage ability ain’t courage based. 6/5 for a two-star card is great but unfortunately she can only do that half of the time. SOA can also reduce her damage to 1 which can be a problem.  But overall she is a great card to use cause you won’t use her to win for she is a filler, a role player not the star player on your deck.

This angry granny comes to town to give everyone an alternative to Pino and add more flexibility for a Montana deck by having another decent two-star.

Enzo

Character Background

The city’s most reliable and speediest chauffeur. When Edd needs a special order delivered, the sort he’d rather Copper didn’t intercept, Enzo is the only person he can trust. Enzo, on the other hand, trusts no one and particularly not Edd, but that’s another story…

Review

Crime is also on the rise in Clint City with Montana’s new recruits. First on the list is their most reliable driver, Enzo. Vickie being banned in ELO, most Montana players just ignore the five-star. Will Enzo be able to change that?

8/5 for a five-star is average and his ability may be useless at times but for a clan like Montana who doesn’t have anything better, Enzo is sure to shine. His poison ability can be used against card’s that can reduce damage and wait for a few rounds so that the poison can take effect to offset the damage reduce, but then again his poison ability is not that useful cause of the low life loss per turn and high minimum life for it to take effect. His only good point is the high power.

He is good but not that good, but if you are looking for a high power Montana card then Enzo can do the job. But then again you could just use either Edd or Rosa as they would be able to give your deck more flexibility.
